If this is the first home you are buying or have purchased a number of homes in the past, it is strongly recommended that your new or re-sale purchases have a home inspection. I often hear people say “I am buying a new home and there shouldn't be any issues“. Any home may have problems and for your protection and peace of mind you should have an home inspection done. Whether you hire my services for an inspection or not, have your next home or condo inspected.
My expertise in home inspection began over twenty-five years ago when I started designing and building homes in Marietta, Georgia. Twenty-five years of building design and construction enables me to know what to look for in a home and anticipate potential problems in advance. When making, potentially the biggest investment of you life, have confidence in knowing that you are working with someone who is experienced in all areas of the home.
I personally do all my home inspections. Every home receives a thorough inspection from roof to foundation, electrical to plumbing. Know what you are buying!
In order to help you better understand the overall condition of the
home you are purchasing, a walk through will be conducted after the home inspection
is completed. We will discuss major items of concern and any questions
you may have. Of course you are welcome to participate in the entire home inspection.
The typical home inspection will last around 2-4 hours, depending on the size and age of the home. Within 24 hours after the home inspection, you will receive an email with a link to your report. The home inspection report includes written descriptions and digital images about items of concern, maintenance items, safety issues and recommendations.
